In recent times living and entertaining outdoors has become a big part of our lives. Our gardens are places we spend more and more time enjoying, so why not make the outdoors be part of the indoors?
Simple constructions like those using KonnectFrame products can make an outdoor ‘room’ for all to enjoy. Be that a mindful retreat, a dining dynasty, or simply a place to sit outside.
With strong reference back to the marine industry, KonnectFrame understands the importance of durability and strength in an outdoor environment. The UK weather is extremely mixed and anything outside has to endure the elements. For that reason KonnectFrame is made using 6082 Structural Aluminium that is a Marine Grade Alloy with a Registered Yield Strength.
KonnectFrame use skilled craftsman with ISO accreditation, whom on one day are welding fuel tanks for bespoke superyachts, and the next are hand manufacturing KonnectFrame products.
In addition we manufacture here on UK soil, in the South West of England. We are proud to use skilled, local artisans, incorporating high-end design in the manufacture of our products.

Idea to Concept
It all started with…
If you can’t find it - Make it. That’s when we set about trialing our first concept design in 2020.
We couldn’t source all the parts we wanted in order to build our perfect pergola. We were searching for something to bring a high-end finish to our garden design, but it didn’t exist. So our search for a modern addition our garden design had been ‘tripped up’ and we fell at the first hurdle.

Concept to Design
What’s Next…
We pulled on experienced engineers with history in high-end marine & aerospace to ensure a product with credibility, durability and design.
We found UK based engineers to assist design. Using their experience, we proved out our concept ideas and modelled base elements in Computer Aided Design (CAD). We then set about stress analysing key features to ensure a safe and durable design.

Design & Sustainability
Sustainability from the off….
One of the fundamental ‘musts’ for KonnectFrame is for the product to be sustainable. We want to create something that lasts. We want to produce something that is able to endure a torrid environment.
Therefore, bar the thin powdercoating material giving KonnectFrame its colour, everything is designed to last and can be recycled just like a simple aluminium drinks can.
